Every two seconds, someone in the world needs blood. For surgery, childbirth, an accident, or an ongoing treatment. Most of us will never know when we might need it ourselves, but we can choose whether it's there for someone else. 

On Thursday, August 8, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monty Holding hosted a Blood Drive open to all employees at Monty Café Premium, joining hands with Heart of Life. An organization dedicated to raising awareness around blood donation and connecting willing donors with patients in need, working to ensure that blood banks across the region stay stocked for the moments that can't wait. 

For the donor, it's only fifteen minutes, but for the person on the other end, it could be everything. 

Its true that none of our employees will ever meet the people their donations may save, but that anonymity doesn't make the act any less meaningful, because the reward was never recognition, it was simply showing up when it mattered 

Initiatives like this reflect something core to how Monty Holding operates: our belief that a business's responsibility extends beyond its balance sheet, into the communities and people it shares space with.  

Partnering with organizations like Heart of Life is one of the ways we try to put that belief into action. Not as a headline, but as fifteen minutes, given freely, by our team.
